Welcome to our  farm covering over 3000 acres, with a rich history that places it among the oldest and largest coffee plantations in Africa. Nestled in the heart of Nyeri, our farm boasts 825 acres dedicated to coffee cultivation, contributing to the region’s legacy of exceptional coffee production.

Our Annual green bean coffee production ranges between 350-450 tons out of which the quality grades AA, AB& PB forms the largest percentage of over 80%.  We are also accredited to Rainforest Alliance, UTZ Kapeh, CAFÉ’ Practices certifications and 4Cs verification which allow the farm to access direct coffee markets.

HARVESTING 

“At our farm, the coffee harvest season spans from June to January, marking our peak harvesting periods. During these months, our dedicated team meticulously handpicks the ripe coffee cherries from our trees.
This meticulous handpicking process is a time-honored tradition and a testament to our commitment to quality. Handpicking allows us to selectively harvest only the ripest cherries, ensuring the highest standards for our coffee beans.

WET PROCESSING METHOD

We employ a meticulous approach to coffee processing, utilizing the wet process method. This method involves carefully extracting the coffee seeds from the cherries, followed by fermentation and washing to deliver a refined and distinctive flavor profile.
The wet process is a key element in our commitment to quality, allowing us to control and enhance the flavor characteristics of our coffee. This method ensures that our beans maintain their inherent qualities, resulting in a consistently exceptional cup.

SUN DRYING

Following the careful extraction of coffee seeds through the wet process, we harness the power of natural sunlight to perfect the drying phase.
Sun drying, an age-old technique, allows our beans to absorb the gentle warmth and ambient flavors of our region, imparting a unique character to each batch. This natural process nurtures the beans to their ideal moisture content, enhancing their richness and ensuring a nuanced flavor profile.

Our coffee is grown, processed, milled, roasted and packaged at the farm. This ensures that the quality is maintained and the consumer enjoys the freshness of the farm right at the comfort of their home.
